Every man was created to wield power and authority, but not every man knows how to use that power for good.
The Good Man Series is an exploration and journey that addresses a quiet crisis among men: isolation, confusion, false strength, and the pain of having unfathered and unfinished hearts. This journey offers a different way—one rooted in kindness, truth, courage, and the restoring restorative work of God.
Most men carry strength in their hearts — the desire to protect, to fight for what matters, to live with honor, courage and purpose. But somewhere along the road many of us learned to hide, prove, or to live in fear. Beneath the noise and pressure of modern life, God designed something far better for men than constant survival mode through the noise and pressure of modern life. He designed us to be Good Men — beloved sons, loving warriors. Men who are strong enough to fight for love, and humble enough to be changed by it.
The Good Man Series is a free eight-session video journey into the heart of a man — helping you rediscover who you truly are, confront the False Self that keeps you bound, and step into the strength of the healed and wholehearted life Jesus offers. The video series is designed to watch on your own or with a group of men in a weekly small group format, or as a weekend retreat.

The Problem Men Feel But Rarely Say Out Loud
Many men are carrying more than they let on.
Pressure.
Isolation.
Disappointment.
A quiet sense that life isn’t what they hoped it would be.
Some men cope by working harder.
Some escape into distractions.
Some grow distant from the people they love.
And many quietly wonder: Is this really what life as a man is supposed to feel like?
The truth is — it’s not.
God created men for something far deeper and far more alive than simply getting through the week.
A Different Kind of Strength
The world tells men strength means dominance, success, or control.
But Jesus reveals something very different.
A good man is not the man who conquers others.
He is the man who learns to overcome within.
A good man is:
- A beloved son who knows he is deeply loved by God
- A man of courage who faces his wounds instead of hiding them
- A warrior for love who fights for his family, his friends, and the good of others
- A man becoming more whole, not more hardened
This journey is about discovering the strength to be a good man.
Who This Is For
This series is for men who:
- Feel stuck, disconnected, or weary
- Want to grow spiritually but aren’t sure where to start
- Desire deeper friendships with other men
- Want to become better husbands, fathers, and leaders
- Long to experience the life Jesus promised
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
Just bring your masculine heart.

What You'll Experience
Across eight 25–30 minutes sessions you’ll explore:
Session 1: The Good Man — Invitation & Freedom
To invite men into the journey, name the problem of isolation and false strength, and establish freedom—not performance—as the goal.
Session 2: The Larger Story — Orientation & Awareness
To orient men to the larger story they were born into, helping them see reality clearly so they are no longer disoriented, naïve, or living in a story too small to carry their hearts.
Session 3: The False Self — Honesty & Seeing
To help men recognize the False Self—the survival-based identity they have mistaken for who they are—and experience freedom through honest awareness.
Session 4: Wounding — Tenderness & Truth
To help men understand how wounds shaped their beliefs, agreements, and False Self, and to invite them to walk back into those places with Jesus.
Session 5: Healing — Receiving & Union
To invite men into healing as union with God—receiving truth, breaking agreements, and restoring identity.
Session 6: The True Self — Identity & Being
To reveal the True Self—who men already are in Christ—and invite them to live from being rather than striving.
Session 7: Glory — Training & Rhythm
To help men understand their glory—how they uniquely bear God’s image—and train in rhythms that sustain freedom.
Session 8: Taking It Home — Commissioning & Sending
To integrate the journey and commission men to live from healed hearts in their everyday lives.
Each session can be experienced on your own or with a group of men.
